Upon reading the Exponent for the last week or so I've noticed a very distinct trend between the back and forth pro-life and pro-choice activists' articles. While I couldn't explain why, it seems like nearly every pro-choice article I've read has been hateful and spiteful with a severe lack of any real information besides the very overstated, "Shame on you Exponent for allowing offensive inserts to be published in your paper." It has been obvious which side of the fence articles written by the pro-life supporters were on, but these articles were not offensive and at least weren't bitter and hateful. It has appeared that these articles and inserts were honestly trying to help and encourage both men and women to look deeper into the truth before making a life-changing decision. I don't see how personal testimonies, scientifically proven facts, statistics and defined medical procedures could be considered any more offensive and disgusting propaganda than some of the articles I have read in the opinions section since the insert was in the paper. If nothing else they were at least informative. We are all trying to do the right thing no matter what side we are on, and as the future leaders of this great nation, we can at least learn to accept other people's opinions without resorting to distasteful comments and violent actions. So please, if you have any useful or relevant comments, by all means make your voice heard, but if all you can do is put others down and breed anger, please save us all a little grief and clean up your articles before submitting them for the world to see.
