UPDATE (1:56 p.m.): Purdue moves to No. 4 in AP poll

The Purdue men's basketball team moved up in the Associated Press poll on Monday.

The Boilers, who defeated then No. 9 Tennessee in the championship game of the Paradise Jam last Monday, was ranked No. 4 in the nation by the media.

Purdue stayed at No. 6 in the nation in the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll. Duke jumped the Boilers for the No. 5 spot after it defeated then No. 13 Connecticut in the championship game of the NIT Season Tip-Off on Friday.
