Lack of health insurance causes problems
On Friday, Maria Arocha, a senior in the College of Liberal Arts and president of the Purdue Adult Student Network, had a high fever and no health insurance.
“I couldn’t get it lower than 104. I started freaking out,” Arocha said, adding that she was convinced the symptoms were indicative of H1N1.
“I was thinking, ‘Oh my God. What am I going to do if I have to go to the emergency room?’” Arocha said.
